So is this how the rest of the season is going to go? They eliminate one contestant per week until there's only one left...It's like "Twelve Little Indians" or "Survivor." Who will be voted off the island today?
Well, here's who I'm voting to keep today:
1. Ruben: this was Ruben's round...he's great with the Motown...he rocked tonight.
2. Julia: her performance tonight wasn't great, but she's my pick to win the entire thing, so I'll support her through this round...and goddamn she's hot...what was Simon thinking telling her not to bow...bow more! Bow before me!!!
3. Clay: He's the man...if Julia doesn't win, he's my alternate choice...the guy's got a great voice.
4. Trynece: she didn't do as well tonight as she did last week, but she was still better than most of the rest...she's another natural Motown singer
5. Kimberly Caldwell: I always like seeing and hearing her perform...good singing and good looking.
6. Carmen: she didn't sing well, but I liked her performance...and at the risk of being arrested, I'll say she looks really hot. I liked her country-esque twist to "Can't Hurry Love"
Hey, I just noticed something...there were 4 people who advanced through the wildcard round last week. Out of the 6 people I voted for today, all 4 of the wildcard winners were included in there.
Now comes the tricky part of this round...out of the 12 people from tonight, who do I think will get the axe? There are a few of them I haven't liked throught the competition and Charles is one of them...I hope he gets the send-off tomorrow on the results show.

Mmm... my favs this round would have to be Ruben and Clay, hands down. A close second would definitely be Trenyce, she's the new Tamyra of the group. I thought the worst of the 12 would have to be Carmen or... can't remember his name... maybe Corey? Yeah, I think that's his name. They just weren't good enough for me. Charles... eh, he has potential, he just wasn't showing it off tonight. He sounds freakishly like Usher.

That was a close call...Julia almost got the boot...she's safe for now...that Vanessa chick got tossed...I never had much of an opinion on her one way or another...sorry Vanessa...you are the weakest link...goodbye.

Yep, Julia isn't much of a favorite in the polls. Most props go to Josh and Clay, and occassionally, Ruben. My pick to win the entire thing is either Clay or Ruben, but voters are just eating up Josh, so who knows. Either way, I love the guy, gotta have tons of respect for a Marine.

my favorites in the final 12 are Corey, Trenyce, Ruben, and Charles. I disn't much care for Vanessa much, anyway, so I wasn't sad to see her go..

I want Kimberly (the hot blonde with the awesome voice) to win!!!
Josh - the marine or w/e his name is - i think he sounds more country than pop and my sis agrees (we both agreed lol)
everyone in my family wants clay to win they think he is wonderful (he reminds me Mark's, this guy i know, boyfriend) but i just think he is ok i've only heard bits and peices of his singin tho.

"American Idol" review-time again...here's where my votes are going tonight:
1. Trenyce - great, strong voice...
2. ClayAiken - this kid's got the best diction of any singer I've ever heard.
3. Kimberly Caldwell - her performance wasn't great but Gladys Knight told her she has Charisma so I gotta vote for her.
4. Julia - this is the last time I'm subsidizing Julia. I'll give her one more week; if she's not better next time I'm not voting for her again (assuming she's there next week)...I mean c'mon...She gives this whole intro saying this is a song she can really relate to and this will give her a chance to shine...and then she gives a half-assed performance?
I know I can't vote for Kelly Clarkson but she had best performances tonight.
On a final note, Kimberly Locke sang about going Home...I thought that was fitting since she was probably my least favorite tonight...she should go home. And does anybody else think she looks like Michael Jackson plus 50 pounds?

my mom thinks that kimberly locke is very pretty or beautiful or something like that i'm not sure lol but she has a nice voice.
My choice - as always - is kimerbly caldwell! she is so amazing but she holds back some. she needs to let her beautiful voice just fly out of her! I think she is gorgeous and her voice is entrancing and i could only imagine if she would just belt it out.

Personally, I like Kimberly. No, she's not my fav (pfft, no one tops Clay and Ruben), but she's got a strong, soulful voice, and a very distinct one.

Looks like Charles Grigsby is gone...I never really liked him...funny, though. His goodbye performance tonight was the best I've heard him sing...
I'm interested in seeing if Julia can bounce back with a great performance next week, having been put in the bottom-three 2 weeks in a row...or will she be drained and stink up the joint...
