I thought Constantine was WAY better than they claimed he was. Anthony, my man, was... eh. I was sadly disappointed. I thought Mario was the best.

Tonight's episode was more enjoyable (for me at least) than last night. I didn't get to vote since I taped the show and by the time I finished watching the polls had closed. But had I had the chance to vote, I'd probably go with:
1. Vonzie for her energetic performance
2. Amanda. Simon better stop hitting on MY girlfriend  . Hope she can do some better singing next time, but god freakin' hotty damn...I can actually see her as an actress...
3. Lindsey Cardinale...she kind of reminds me a bit of Julia from a few seasons back. Nice sultry voice and quite a cutie too.

My 3 favs of the night were definitely Vonzell, Nadia, and Aloha, though I of course still heart Amanda. Just wish she would've went for another song. And Simon hitting on her. Not surprised. She's THAT hot.

Vonzell (that's the fro lady right?) I love Carrie Underwood. i love her to death she's amazing! just really blows me away. and i dunno if i liked aloha or not. i was kinda sidetracked by her lack of bra and too short dress... she looked bad... good job, but bad look. i missed some of the performances because of someone coming in and my one roommate not shutting his [censored] mouth... i'm ready to flip [censored] on him... he definitely pissed me off tonight. i bitched him out hardcore.

So the first cuts were made...Melinda Lira and Sarah Mather on the X end. Jared Yates and Judd Harris on the Y side.
No complaints from me...just keep my Amanda and Lindsey going strong and I'll be a happy camper.

On a side, does anybody know what Amanda's background is? She looks like she's either Italian or Spanish.
I found Amanda Avila's bio on the "Star Search" website which lists "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as one of her favorite tv shows. Amanda admits on her bio on the "American Idol" website that she is "a big dork." Umm...I love this girl...Is it too early in the relationship for me to propose marriage? Will you marry me Amanda??

She's just a total sweetheart. I had to aww when she was the first to give Judd a goodbye hug. So adorable. Yeah, Mario, Vonzell, Aloha, Anthony, Constantine and Amanda are all cool for now, so... yeah.

I just spent the last hour watching American Idol, and the great part is that's how long it took me to watch last night's show and tonight's as well thanks to my handy dandy VCR.
A couple of weeks in and I think I've come up with my favorites for the year. I don't like most of the guys; Anwar's the only one I've liked 2 weeks out. The judges said Bo did a great job or whatever but I didn't get it. The girls on the other hand, were much more fun to watch...probably because they're more fun to look at  Especially my fiance...yeah, Amanda called me up after my last post and agreed to marry me 
I'm also voting for Lindsey, Vonzie, and I may even jump on the Carrie bandwagon one of these days...Simon said he's already picked his winner, and I'm guessing that's Carrie.
