This fan blackout thing that is supposed to happen on the 13th of May is really annoying.
As a webmaster, I condemn it. I hope that this site will still be up. Will it?

This site neither condones nor condemns the Fan Blackout.. We are first and foremost a Charisma Carpenter site, with no direct involvement in reproducing anything that could be deemed offensive to Fox in regards to Angel or Buffy. As a result, you can be guaranteed this site will be up and running during those dates.

The idea behind the blackout is to temporarily close down Buffy (and Angel?) web sites created by fans of the series to show Fox how lifeless the internet would be without these sites. The reason for doing this is that Fox don't like fan sites using copyrighted material and are trying to prevent these sites from using such material. The crazy thing about the fan blackout is that by closing down fan sites aren't the webmasters giving Fox what it wants?

I don't think Buffy or Angel will be canceled out because wb will lose a hell of a lot of fans. So it really doesn't matter what the websites do. But if they canceled Dawson's Creek and Felicity, even combined, it wouldn't add up to Buffy's and Angel's audience LMAO.
